  • A hospital in California is looking for an experienced MedSurg/Tele nurse for a travel contract.
  • The right candidate will have 2 full years of experience, hold active BLS, ACLS, and NIH certifications as well as an active CA License.
    • Job Requirements
    • 2 full years of experience.
    • Hold active BLS, ACLS, and NIH certifications.
    • Active CA License.
      • Schedule Information
      • 12's 7 - 7:30. Do not be late.
      • Very strict regarding attendance.
      • AM huddle.
      • Block scheduling is not guaranteed.
      • 7 shifts out of 4-week schedule.
      • Night shifts are Fri/Sat & Sat Sun for days.
        • Unit Specific Information
        • 39 Beds (37 private rooms & 1 semi private room).
        • Ratios: 1 to 4 tele patients; 1 to 5 MedSurg patients.
        • EMR: Cerner experience preferred.
        • Phiilips Telemetry required.
        • Orientation normally 1-2 shifts; could be up to 3 depending on Cerner experience.
          • Additional Details
          • CERNER REQUIRED.
          • Charge Nurse 24/7.
          • Nurse Aides CNAs based on the census.
          • Travelers are expected to work into the perm staff holiday rotation schedule (1 major holiday & 1 minor holiday).
          • Scrub Color: Navy blue.
